Teapot N°1

For this design, I decided to work around the infusion of tea. It is a daily-life consumption involving the waste of a huge amount of unnecessary material when using tea bags. The alternative that is already known is the infusion of bulk tea with non-throwable filter systems, which is the highlight of this project.

One of the guidelines being sustainability and environment-friendly materials, I opted to make use of clay through slip-casting, which is a natural and harmless manufacturing technique. The final product consists of a teapot, proning the use of bulk tea, made out of ceramics.
