Outdoor stools, designed to tolerate the harsh weather conditions in Iceland.
My research on forestry in Iceland shows that there are opportunities for local wood production. By designing outdoor furniture made out of local wood the aim of the project is to help people experience nature while also showcasing the potential of local wood production in Iceland. When stacked the stools become more strong and stable and additionally they become a landmark in the forest. Something to look after when you are in need of a break.
