light light

Cordless lighting solutions designed by second-year Master students. The built-in battery, minimal size of components and the use of a single LED ensure lightness and mobility.

Transparency

In collaboration with The Glass Factory, Boda and Bergdalahyttan, the first year Master students not only to developed glass products, but explored the potential of this material applied in sustainable, cyclic systems for the future. The students investigated and identified linear systems to propose alternatives that aim at bringing a positive change to our planet and its inhabitants.

Forecast Casting Project

Collaborating with S-P-O-K, first year Master's students redesigned an alternative to the linear system, in order to make it cyclic. The designers were inspired by different aspects of life and created cyclic systems to replace wasteful linear systems that exist in those areas today. Additionally, all prototypes are produced by casting and have practical uses. The casted materials used are porcelain, aluminium, bronze and concrete.

Now/Then

The effects of climate change became even more clear in 2016: global surface temperature records were shattered and the least amount of arctic sea ice was recorded. Humans have become the dominant force that are...

Analogue Ways

The gap between human and nature has never been bigger. Our way of living is based on linear systems of unsustainable global resource flows and non-renewable toxic energy sources. These processes are so embedded in...

Carve or Starve

Innovation is not always what you think it is. We welcome you to our project that aims to engage in a debate about hand-made food and tools. The “industrial way” of organizing our food production,...
