Soil Press
In the beginning phase of seedlings growth, the container plays an essential role in containing growing medium and keeping moisture. Ceramic or plastic pots are widely used even they are unsustainable and hard to transplant seedlings directly. However, a new type of container-soil block serves as both the container and the growing medium for a transplanted seedling. Because they are pressed out by a form rather than filled into a form, air spaces provide the walls.
A soil press is made to make soil blocks easily and effectively. With three components: compost, vermiculite and coconut peat mixing up, serving as growing medium, to provide nutrition. The soil press works with a wooden tray, which can help to keep moisture, to provide growing space for seedlings eco-friendly and sustainably.
