A linear system I identified was packaging in grocery stores to contain dry goods. Plenty of plastic is used for packaging, which is then being thrown away when the food has been consumed. A big waste of food also happens when customers are forced to buy big bags of a dry goods, when they maybe only need a small amount of it for a certain dish. Then these dry goods are often being stored on a shelf and gets old and thrown away.
I have designed a scoop for handling dry goods in stores and marketplaces. The three levels, 1, 2/5 and 5 dl, gives the possibility to measure wanted amount of dry goods. With the long handle you can reach far and the chutes at the front of the scoop makes it easy to poor into small bottles.
