RAINY

Rainy is a two-part casted rain gauge model with a plate at the top and a cone as a holder. The plate serves as a wide surface in order to store as much water as possible. The cone has guiding lines that serve as measurers and a spike at the bottom which you can put on the ground. Bronze and Aluminum are the materials I chose to work with instead of plastic.

‘Plastic is easy to use and extremely cost effective but its use comes at a high price for the environment. With this design I wanted to make a strong, durable model that in contrary to the plastic with the right treatment can last forever. Rainy also store water which you can use to water your plants.
