Naked Table

Naked is a concept, feeling or state of being that can be considered both literal and abstract. The development of the human civilization also marks the “evolution” of our perception towards nakedness, from natural to unnatural. And as the time goes the urge to cover becomes the default, be it beautiful or ugly.  Both as designers and human beings, hereby we precious the nakedness for its embodiment of the raw and honest truth. 

This naked coffee table was designed to enhance material rawness and construction transparency. The result is a piece of furniture expressing the beauty in the existence of something intentionally unfinished.
