Mould Lamp
A sense between hidden and uncovered
Our perception of nakedness is based on the visual removal of protection. The bulb is naked when the cover is opened. And the inner wiring of a light bulb is naked when its being seen through the transparent glass shell. Inspired by the progress of opening the ceramics mould, the Mould Lamp simulates a sense of expecting unknown results. The design hints the viewer to open the covers with the rewarding glow.
