We no longer have to be together to act together.
Mobile devices are for most people a certainty, but how do we actually use them? Synchronous communication (speaking) creates a stronger bond between people but since cities today are more dense then ever, asynchronous communication (texting) is likely to be preferred in spontaneous conversations. The final product became a headset that simplifies spontaneous synchronized communication with help of sound isolation, to create private conversations in crowded places.
