Clothes were once an investment; they were prized possessions that we intended to enjoy for as long as we possibly could. In the 21st century clothes are cheap, disposable goods thanks to the emergence of fast fashion.

Make+Mend is an effort to reduce the effects this industry has on our planet and on fellow humans who make the clothes. This kit gives individuals the information and the tools they need to mend and alter their clothes when they are damaged or have worn after time. It also hopes to encourage users to invest in clothing that may be slightly more expensive, but will last longer and will be worth repairing.
