discussion of naked intimacy
The project makes use of common constructional material and creates a functional sitting surface. Steel bars and wires frame around the sheet metal seat, which is suspended still in the middle. The construction materials, however so usually seen, are rough and coarse in the look, naturally withdrawing themselves from dormitory experiences. The piece of furniture seeks to breach this invisible gap, and to present the naked intimacy in between.
