Wild Growth
In urban landscapes lies an opportunity to reconnect with nature and cultivate thriving ecosystems. This project was born from the need to increase biodiversity in cities.
Wild Growth addresses urban biodiversity decline through design and activism, responding to global calls for action from the EU’s biodiversity strategy and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Research highlights the significant benefits of green spaces on mental well-being and their ecological importance. Notably, one in every three bites of food we consume relies on pollinators.
Based on these foundations, the Wild Growth project aims to democratize urban rewilding through an accessible seed spreader.
Tailored seed packets, combined with incentivization strategies, encourage direct engagement with nature, fostering a deeper connection between communities and their local environments.
