TRI(P)LANAR
euclide plane luminaire duo
Euclide plane refers to a unique flat surface defined by three non-collinear points. Fascinated by how one or two points can be easily created by inserting rod to its existing holes on a rounded metal part and together with the intersection point of the plate with a tabletop, creating a surface acute to it, thus transforming a free-rotating structure to a stable piece, Tri(p)lanar is a luminaire duo utilizing this feature.
Apart from threaded rods, nuts and acrylic diffusers, rubber bands play an important part in the design, which are the interiors of thrown-away Toyota heatsinks.
