MINDBOOSTER

Create optimal conditions for neurotransmitters responsible for regulating and boosting mood

Chronic stress is an escalating global issue that poses significant challenges. The Scandinavian region, including Sweden, faces a substantial hurdle in addressing this problem due to long waiting times for psychological help. In Sweden, individuals may have to endure a wait of up to 12 weeks, while in Denmark, the waiting period can stretch as long as 20 weeks. Consequently, there is an urgent need to develop interventions that can help individuals feel better during this long waiting period.

The development of this app draws upon a diverse range of resources, including surveys, extensive scientific research, relevant literature, insights from practicing psychologists and a market analysis.

MindBooster endeavors to create optimal conditions for neurotransmitters responsible for regulating and boosting mood. It achieves this by focusing on activities that stimulate the release of these neurotransmitters and incorporating foods containing essential precursors for neurotransmitter synthesis. The app also informs about the role of the microbiota in relation to mental well-being.

The existing situation, where individuals in Scandinavia wait months to access psychological care, presents a significant and deeply concerning dilemma. Mental health conditions, such as chronic stress, cannot be put on hold during this waiting period.
