The current design trend for toothbrushes is premised on disposability, a product life cycle strategy rooted in the corporate pursuit of amplified revenue through heightened sales volumes. however, as designers, our role extends beyond crafting products – we are responsible for shaping the systems within which these products operate.
The toothbrush, is conceptualized within the framework of a forward-thinking company, one that addresses this disposability issue not by selling a product but by providing a service.
