Jewels Of The Garden

To obtain a more sustainable society we need to eat less meat, more seasonal and locally produced food. The aim of this project was therefore to encourage people to grow their own vegetables by providing a tool for drying and storing seeds. This procedure usually consists of several different steps which all require different tools. The ambition with my project was to make the process less troublesome by making it possible to preform the steps with only one tool. The case serves as a place for the seeds to dry without the risk of mixing species. After a couple of weeks the moist is gone and the case can be closed for winter storage with a simple knot. The shape of the case is supposed to resemble a jewelry box since they both share the same purpose: a resting place for valuable contents.
