FTTR SMART HOME WIFI ROUTER

The existing wifi routers is now in an awkward position: it is so important that every family has at least one of them and it is so insignificant in our physical world that we may never touch them or even look at them after we brought them home and turned them on.

In this project, I wish to find a new solution to make the current wifi routers have more physical meaning which can impact our real life while providing indispensable wifi signal. Besides offering Wifi signal, FTTR Wifi router is able to have the control and monitor over all the smart devices connected to the current mesh Wifi. The households no longer need to download apps from different IoT brand in order to control the smart devices in the house. The WiFi router then becomes a hardware based housekeeper.
