ENKLA- FOR EASY PAYMENTS
This was the question that I chose to work with in my bachelor project. My target group is people that have neurodevelopmental disorder and by that have problems understanding the already very abstract concept of money. This is because they often fall in the shadows and do not currently
have a helpful payment tool.
My solution is answering these main issues; to not be able to verify payments via code, not trusting that there is money in their account due to no access to the balance and being stressed out by the number of steps required to purchase something. These needs were gathered through interviews with the target group, support assistants and “the good man” who helps them with their economy, combined with doctoral dissertations, essays and reports.
“Enkla” uses a fingerprint sensor as an easy and safe identification. The screen shows direct pictograms to guide the user through the purchasing steps. A stack diagram will always be available on the screen to show the balance. The amount accounted for is personal and when the minimum balance is reached the diagram turns red. I designed “Enkla” with how the product will be held and used in focus.
“Enkla” is the solution for easier and safe payments and is the bridge between the people and the digital world.
