Efterlyst is a stationary light source with the function of being used as a mobile area light. The lamp continues to illuminate during a power outage due to its integrated battery.
The custom cylindrical plexiglass works in sync with the LED-lamp to provide a 360 degrees area light. For a dynamic user experience, the light is dimmable by three levels controlled by a button located on the handle.
To achieve mobility, the lamp can easily be removed from the charging station. These two parts are designed to be perceived as belonging together. Thus, encouraging the user to connect the two again after usage, to ensure that the battery is always charged.
