38℃
38℃ is a set of the wine glass that focuses on Chinese rice wine culture. With the development of globalisation, Chinese people are so influenced by the western red wine and beer culture, most young people prefer foreign wines rather than our traditional wines because they think it’s old style, from the package to the drinking utensils. Besides, for glass industry in China, since the material was introduced quite late, most factories become outsourcing manufacturers rather than design domestic products.
So this set is based on the drinking behaviours of Chinese people, the shape could be traced back to Shang dynasty. It also highlights the warming process in rice wine, 38℃ is the best temperature for drinking. My purpose is to design a symbolic shape for better cultural exporting.
