PAPER POTS

Why should the packaging of a plant that lasts for two weeks take thousands of years to decompose?

These paper pots are designed to replace the existing packaging of supermarket herb plants. Unlike current packaging made from fossil-based plastics, these pots are made of biodegradable waxed paper from renewable resources. The design features a protective cage that can be torn off, eliminating the need for the existing use of a plastic bag. This simplified solution offers multiple benefits over current packaging; it consists of one part, it offers improved possibilities for graphics, the material choice mimics the lifespan of the plant and the packaging can enter the same waste stream.
