In the north we have almost endless resources of clean water. By simply opening the water tap you can get as much clean water as you want. Clean running water is a good thing but the easy accessibility to the water can lead to over consumption. Water processing is also energy consuming, so I started to think of ways to wash ourselves with less water.
Kauko is a scoop for bathing. It is respectful to the traditional ones that are used in Finnish saunas where you don’t have running water. It is casted from aluminium which is easy to recycle and has good corrosion resistant properties.
It is an alternative shower that reminds us of the joys of simple and sustainable living.
