KIT is a floor luminaire featuring adjustable units on a horizontal rail, a mechanism that allows free arrangements of light and reflection. The design is an appropriation of experiment kits found in laboratory environments, and an attempt to de-clothe the over-stylized context of light fixtures in domestic storytelling. Much like the name indicates, the fixture resembles a kit of loose components with varied ways of assembly, rewarding one with the experience of exploring, and achieving a precise disposition of light that suits the desired narrative best.
